Goshen Theater Staff

Adrienne Nesbitt is a Goshen native. She holds a BA in Theater Performance and Vocal Performance from Goshen College. She worked at the theater part time back in 2016 as the Theater Manager and is now thrilled to be taking on the role of Program Director.

She has spent her life supporting the arts in Goshen. She is the founder of Arts on the Millrace, an annual fine arts festival started in 2013. She was the Board President at Goshen Art House for over a decade. She was the Director of Goshen First Fridays from 2015 – 2022. She is also the founder and Board President of Goshen Pride.

Adrienne is excited to choose though-provoking, challenging, and entertaining shows and performers for Goshen Theater’s stage. 

Jerry has been involved with Goshen Theater since 2011 when he was asked to be a part of the theater board studying the feasibility of purchasing and restoring the building. The theater was acquired [by nonprofit Goshen Theater, Inc.] in June 2014, at which time Jerry assumed the role of technical director and facilities manager.

Jerry has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies (Theater, Music, Psychology) from Goshen College.

Katie Barnes (she/her/ella), born and raised in Sullivan, MO, holds a BFA in Musical Theater from Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. After working professionally as an actress and a teaching artist throughout the Midwest region post-graduation, Katie found herself relocating from Chicago to Three Rivers, Michigan when the pandemic came to town. After helping launch Goshen Theater’s annual summer camp in 2020 and 2021, Katie became a permanent staff member at Goshen Theater in August 2021 as their Front of House Manager and Educational Director. Katie likes to spend her free time with her family and three cats.
